Entrambi i documenti devono poi essere presentati all&#8217;<b>Ufficiale di Stato Civile Italiano<\/b> insieme all&#8217;affidavit consolare, legalizzato presso la <b>prefettura<\/b> competente. <\/p><p><b>Nota importante:<\/b> Quando il nostro ufficio assiste con l&#8217;atto notorio, il processo \u00e8 solitamente rapido ed efficiente, grazie alla nostra collaborazione con tribunali italiani flessibili. La dichiarazione resa dagli sposi davanti al funzionario del tribunale \u00e8 sufficiente.  <\/p><p><b>Base Giuridica<\/b><\/p><ul><li><b>Cittadini statunitensi<\/b>: <i>Legge 13 Ottobre 1965, N. 1195<\/i>, concernente lo Scambio di Note tra l&#8217;Italia e gli Stati Uniti d&#8217;America riguardante i matrimoni celebrati in Italia da cittadini statunitensi (firmato a Roma, 29 luglio \u2013 18 agosto 1964). Questa legge ratifica e attua l&#8217;Accordo sui documenti di stato civile da produrre da parte dei cittadini statunitensi che intendono sposarsi in Italia. <\/li><li><b>Cittadini australiani<\/b>: <i>Legge 27 Febbraio 2002, N. 233<\/i>, che ratifica e attua lo Scambio di Lettere costituente un Accordo tra il Governo della Repubblica Italiana e il Governo dell&#8217;Australia sui documenti di stato civile da produrre da parte dei cittadini australiani che intendono sposarsi in Italia.<\/li><li> <\/li><\/ul><p>Ci\u00f2 significa che se sei un <b>cittadino statunitense che si sposa in Italia<\/b> o un <b>cittadino australiano che si sposa in Italia<\/b>, l&#8217;<b>atto notorio \u00e8 un passaggio legale obbligatorio<\/b> per garantire che il tuo matrimonio civile italiano sia
