Villa Litta Modignani

Identified since time immemorial as the Villa of the village of Affori, consisting of the main building on three floors from which short lateral bodies extend to delimit a small courtyard, Villa Litta Modignani experienced its moment of most extraordinary splendor during the 19th century, becoming one of the most renowned villas in the Milan countryside.

Surrounded at that time by a vast park much larger than the present one, it became the holiday residence destined for receptions for the Ambrosian upper middle class and a salon for intellectuals frequented by, among others, Alessandro Manzoni and Francesco Hayez

Here it will be possible to celebrate weddings and civil unions on the following days and times*:

Monday: 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Cascina Monastero

Parts of the Monastery, which was remodeled several times and became a farmhouse in the late 1700s, still retain the architectural features of 15th-century Lombardy.

Its primitive core is found in the 15th-century monastery that Balzarino da Posterla, Matteo Visconti’s son-in-law, had built and then donated to the Olivetan monks. The location of Baggio was chosen because it was close to Milan and adequately protected by the not-far-away castle of Cusago.

Over time, the monastery saw its fortune and extension increase as rustic, and peasant dwellings gradually surrounded it.

Here it will be possible to celebrate marriages and civil unions on the second Saturday of each month (excluding August and October) at the following times:

10:00 – 11:00 – 12:00

A maximum of 18 participants (including the bride and groom and witnesses) with a valid basic green pass are allowed to attend the ceremony.

Cascina Turro

Cascina Turro looks like a single-body structure with a porch on the ground floor and a wooden balcony on the second floor, enclosed with glass windows and overlooking an ample green space.

The dedicated space for celebrating weddings is the farmhouse’s garden.

In case of rain, the celebration is held inside. For this reason, it is recommended to make an appointment to visit the spaces.

Villa Scheibler

Villa Scheibler is a historic villa built in the second half of the 1400s and expanded in the 1700s. It takes its name from its last owners, who left it to the City of Milan.

It was designed as a hunting estate for Ludovico il Moro.

Also attached to the Villa is the park surrounding it on the rear front and a stable.
